I remember that on Thanksgiving you would always take out all the Christmas lights and start testing them so we could start hanging them up that day.And when you would smoke a turkey on the smoker.I miss the gatherings that we had around the holidays and Christmas was your favorite holiday so it is the hardest one to get through. We try to carry on the tradition of Christmas Eve but it seems as the years have gone it doesn't seem special anymore ,like it is just another day. Please help me have faith in the years to come.I want to make it special for my kids the way yall made it special for us when we were kids.I wish you were here ,so many times I see people that look like you from far but then realize it is just me hoping it was you

There were so many great memories! Like my 18th birthday! WOW, he and my mom took me to cowboys! I had so much fun. He was always fun to be around. He was always helping someone! The mans heart was so big, there was always room for another friend, brother, sister, or child. He never meet a stranger! His arms were always open as wide as his heart. He done so much for everyone. Even my family! I dont think the words "no I cant" ever came out of his mouth if someone ever needed anything. I remember the first car I ever had was from him! He always covered for me in my crazy teen years! He always made sure his family was taken care of. He was one of the best dads that ever were! He would always cook for everyone. And that man could cook! Hey Ed, we miss your crawfish boils by the way! The last few months of his life was a major turn around. The man went from gold to platnium! He was priceless. He showed us all no matter what is going on in your life, god is right there with you. He opened my eyes and helped me be the person I am today. And the person Im going to be tomorrow! I lost a big part of my heart in December of 99 when I pulled up to that house. But we are ok now. We KNOW that he is so much better now than before. And the funny part is, I never thought that that could be possible. We love you Ed!

My parrain was very kind, loving and gentle.I remember all the times he used to come visit and tell me how he loved me and he'd always come to get me to go spend time with him and everyone else.He would always do more than he had to for me for the holidays. My parrain bought me my first real bike, and so many other wonderful things. He always had a smile on his face even through the toughest of times. My parrain used to always set up get togethers so everyone would stay close and we would always have so much fun.Imiss and loved my parrain so much and I always will. There are so many more memories but I would like to keep some memories to myself so I can always feel him right beside me.
